Design 1: A modern tribute to the Centennial Seppala Expedition 2025, this card features the expedition team: Jeff Kelley, Jonathan Hayes, Jamie Nichols, and Caleb Gingras — all mushing with direct descendants of Leonhard Seppala’s original dogs. The reverse includes the official 2025 expedition logo, created by Deb Unruh.
Design 2: Celebrating the Seppala Siberian Sleddog as the official Maine State Dog, this postcard captures the dogs in action on the snowy trails of the Northeast. The back tells the story of the breed’s origin, resilience, and recognition in the state of Maine.
Design 3: A powerful then-and-now comparison featuring a historic photo of Leonhard Seppala and his dogs in 1925, paired with a 2025 photo of Jonathan Hayes and a Seppala dog on the same path a century later. The reverse shares the history of the Poland Spring Kennels in Maine, where this legacy continues.
Design 4: A stunning art card featuring “Honoring the Past”, a painting by renowned Iditarod artist Jon Van Zyle.
