The Legend Continues...
Many know the story of Leonhard Seppala and Togo saving the children of Nome Alaska from an outbreak of Diphtheria in 1925. But did you know that Leonhard Seppala brought Togo and the rest of his team of Siberians to live, train, breed and race, right here in Maine? Partnering with the owner of the historic Poland Spring Inn and Resort, Seppala and Togo established the first Siberian Kennel in the Lower 48 states.
For the past 20 years, we have been honored to carry on this Maine legacy by breeding, training, and racing with the direct descendants of that original team, with our CKC registered Seppala Siberian Sleddogs.
